Job Description
The Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Nurse plays a vital role within an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, safe, patient-centered care.
They perform the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using evidence-based practices and critical thinking to ensure individualized care that respects cultural diversity.
The RN partners with patients and families through effective communication methods, such as bedside reports and education, placing the patient's goals at the center of care.
They coordinate and document care, promote teamwork, and participate in performance improvement initiatives, research, and shared governance to enhance safety and quality outcomes.
Professional development includes completing competency assessments, mandatory education, and mentoring less experienced staff.

Required qualifications include an active RN license, Basic Life Support certification, and at least two years of direct patient care experience.
