Registered Nurse (RN) - Acute Care Oncology - PRN

Role Overview: The Registered Nurse provides high-quality nursing care by collaborating with the patient care team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs. They serve as a key communicator between patients, families, and healthcare providers, ensuring patient-centered care and safety.

Responsibilities

Monitor, evaluate, and document patient conditions, contributing to care plans and prioritizing patient flow.
Deliver safe, effective care following policies and procedures.
Advocate for patients, addressing concerns, providing education, and communicating with families and staff.
Participate in performance improvement initiatives and support organizational goals.
Maintain professional licenses, certifications, and engage in ongoing development.
Mentor and support the growth of fellow nurses, fostering a positive work environment.

Qualifications & Skills

Associates, Bachelors, or Masters in Nursing preferred.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and multi-state RN license required.
At least one year of nursing experience required for PRN roles.
Strong communication, clinical judgment, and teamwork skills.
