Registered Nurse (RN) - Acute Care Oncology Days

Role: The RN Clinical Nurse provides high-quality, safe, patient-centered care within an interdisciplinary team on an Oncology Medical-Surgical Unit.

Responsibilities

Performing the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using evidence-based practices.
Delivering relationship-based care tailored to patient demographics and cultural diversity.
Partnering with patients and families through effective communication and education.
Ensuring documentation accuracy and promoting a respectful, inclusive environment.
Coordinating care delivery and participating in performance improvement activities.
Supporting professional development, mentoring colleagues, and upholding clinical standards and organizational policies.
Engaging in evidence-based practice, research, and resource management.

Qualifications & Skills

Associate or higher nursing degree (Bachelor’s preferred).
Current RN license (single state or multi-state compact).
BLS certification.
Less than 1 year of clinical experience or completion of accredited nursing program.
Knowledge of nursing standards, regulatory requirements, and commitment to continuous improvement.
