Outpatient Oncology Infusion RN - Hourly

Role: Provides direct outpatient infusion nursing care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs in a healing environment.

• Responsibilities: Educates patients and families on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration. Ensures patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Develops and documents individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, communicating effectively across care settings. Uses critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient values and barriers. Participates in professional development activities.

Qualifications And Skills

• RN license required; Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree minimum, Bachelor's preferred. Experience not mandatory; less than 2 years preferred. Prior oncology or chemo certification is a plus. Strong assessment, communication, and patient education skills. Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment.

Key Duties: Providing specialized outpatient infusion services such as chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and blood products, with a focus on patient-centered care and education.
