Job Description
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in an inpatient Oncology unit.
Responsibilities include: performing the nursing process, delivering individualized care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, ensuring safety and compliance with standards, and supporting performance improvement initiatives. The RN will serve as a preceptor and promote evidence-based practice, research, and system policies.
Qualifications: a minimum of 5 years of RN experience, current RN license (single state or multi-state compact), BLS certification, and basic computer skills. Preferred candidates hold an associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing and have direct patient care experience.
Skills required: strong communication, critical thinking, time management, and teamwork skills, with the ability to respond effectively in fast-paced environments.
This role involves working night shifts, supporting a 28-bed unit caring for adult cancer patients, including hospice and telemetry needs. Candidates should be committed to compassionate care, excellence, and system values.
