Registered Nurse - Med Surg (Oncology) - FT/Nights

Role Overview: This position involves providing high-quality, patient-centered nursing care by performing the Nursing Process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using evidence-based practices and critical thinking.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver individualized care tailored to patient demographics and cultural diversity, partnering with patients and families to align care with their goals.
Coordinate safe, quality care through effective interdisciplinary communication, documentation, and fostering a respectful, inclusive environment.
Support professional development by completing ongoing competency assessments, serving as a preceptor or mentor, and engaging in performance improvement activities.
Promote evidence-based practice, nursing research, and adherence to policies, standards, and safety goals.
Participate in resource planning, protocol development, and performance improvement initiatives to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills

Associate or Bachelor's Nursing degree preferred.
Valid RN license (single state or multi-state compact) and BLS certification required.
Strong clinical skills, critical thinking, teamwork, and commitment to patient safety and quality care.
