Job Description
Join our healthcare team as a Registered Nurse or Graduate Nurse Resident in the Oncology Progressive department.
Responsibilities include utilizing the nursing process to provide patient care, evaluating the effectiveness of care delivered by team members, coordinating patient care across departments, and maintaining patient rights and confidentiality.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ASN, Diploma, or BSN)
Current RN license in the state or eligible for licensure via a compact state
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
Preferred: 1 year RN experience
Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, reach, bend, kneel, and perform physical tasks
Key duties: providing direct patient care, coordinating with other departments, evaluating care effectiveness, and upholding patient rights and confidentiality.
Skills and attributes: strong clinical skills, teamwork, communication, and adherence to standards and values.
