Job Description
Role: Radiation Therapist
Responsibilities: Administers ionizing irradiation to patients according to physician prescriptions, ensuring safety and accuracy. Prepares treatment rooms and equipment, explains procedures to patients, and monitors for reactions or complications during therapy. Maintains detailed records of treatments, patient charts, and reports. Provides clinical supervision and evaluates students' practical skills. Performs additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
Required: ARRT-Radiation Therapy (ARRT-T) and Therapeutic Radiologic Technology (TRT) certifications.
Preferred: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in radiological technology, experience in radiologic technology, BLS certification, fluoroscopy permit.
Strong knowledge of radiation safety, patient care, and record-keeping.
Organizational Requirements: All associates must receive mandated vaccinations and comply with safety policies. The role involves adherence to E-Verify and other employment policies.
