Role Summary
This position involves practicing professional nursing by performing both independent and delegated medical functions in accordance with standards. Key responsibilities include providing comprehensive patient care focused on health promotion, disease prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of various conditions. The nurse assesses health status, collects data, analyzes reports, and develops care plans, prioritizing patient needs and delivering appropriate interventions, including triage and emergency response. They execute delegated medical procedures such as medication administration and therapy, coordinate care across services, and advocate for patients. Building strong patient relationships, ensuring safety, and adhering to quality protocols are essential.
Qualifications & Skills
Minimum one year of RN experience, with at least one year in oncology within the past five years.
Graduation from an approved RN program with supervised clinical experience.
Licensed as a Registered Nurse (Colorado), BLS certification within three months, and ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy certification.
Strong customer service, critical thinking, IV, and communication skills; ability to work independently and within a team.

Assess health status, analyze data, and develop care plans.
Triages patients, manages emergencies, and provides health education.
Administers medications and supports treatment plans under physician delegation.
Coordinates care, manages patient populations, and leads healthcare teams.
