Job Description
Seeking a Medical Oncologist for a collaborative, multidisciplinary cancer center serving the Western Slope in the Colorado Rockies.
This role involves general Medical Oncology with no subspecialty required, managing approximately 12–14 patients per day with more time for each patient. It features a 2-physician model supported by strong APP and multidisciplinary teams, and offers an opportunity to help shape and grow the program.
The position is primarily outpatient with light, phone-based call, while inpatient care is managed by hospitalists, promoting excellent work-life balance. Compensation includes a base salary of $500K–$550K with total compensation over $650K, plus sign-on, relocation, CME, full benefits, and unique perks like ski access and wellness discounts. The employer is PSLF-eligible.
Ideal candidates are Board Certified/Eligible in Medical Oncology or Hematology/Oncology, with a patient-centered, team-oriented approach. This role offers low volume, strong support, and a chance to make a meaningful impact in regional/rural communities, all while living in a desirable mountain community.
