Role Overview
The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care using technology, evidence-based practices, and collaborative care coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Assess and address patients' physical and psychological needs with compassion and effective communication.
Develop individualized treatment plans and ensure compliance with clinical guidelines and documentation standards.
Oversee care provided by LPNs and CNAs and participate in clinical team discussions.
Follow hospital, regulatory, and professional policies to deliver quality care.
Qualifications & Skills
Current RN license in practice state.
Graduation from an accredited Nursing program; BSN required within four years or with significant RN experience.
BLS/ACLS certification upon hire or within 60 days.
Strong assessment, communication, manual dexterity, and physical mobility skills for patient care and equipment handling.
Additional Requirements
Ability to read labels, operate monitors, and respond quickly during emergencies.
Capability to lift, transfer, and assist patients, including navigating crowded environments and prolonged standing.
