Job Description
Role Overview: This position involves providing compassionate nursing care to patients in a hospice setting, focusing on meeting their physical and emotional needs while supporting their families. The role emphasizes patient education, dignity, respect, and caring relationships.
Responsibilities
• Deliver skilled nursing care to hospice patients
• Support patients and families emotionally and physically
• Educate patients and families about care plans
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure quality care
• Maintain documentation and adhere to clinical standards
Qualifications & Skills
• Current RN licensure recognized by the State of Vermont
• One or more years of related home, public health, or hospice nursing experience preferred
