Role Overview:
The Registered Nurse provides high-quality nursing care by collaborating with the patient care team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs. They serve as a frontline representative, acting as an intermediary between patients, families, providers, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor, examine, and evaluate patient conditions; assist with care planning and deliver care according to policies and procedures.
Document patient assessments, changes, education, and incidents accurately.
Advocate for patients, addressing concerns and providing health education to patients and families.
Prioritize patient flow and coordinate care to ensure safety and effectiveness.
Participate in performance improvement initiatives and support organizational goals.
Maintain professional licenses, certifications, and pursue ongoing growth and leadership development.
Mentor and foster a positive work environment, upholding confidentiality, safety, and professional standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
Minimum education: Associates, Bachelors, or Masters in Nursing (preferred).
Required licenses and certifications: BLS or BLS Instructor; RN license valid in the state or multi-state compact.
One year of nursing experience required for PRN roles.
