Radiation Therapist - Morrisville, NC

Contribute to a collaborative healthcare environment as a skilled Radiation Therapist, leveraging your expertise in radiation therapy to deliver quality care to patients. This contract position offers dynamic shift opportunities, with the clinic operating between 6:00 am and 6:00 pm. Shifts will vary within these hours, and a schedule of four 10-hour shifts is typical, though final assignments will be determined following an interview.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid certification and/or licensure in Radiation Therapy

• Prior experience as a Radiation Therapist

• Proficiency with Elekta systems highly preferred

• Ability to maintain accurate, thorough patient and procedural records

• Strong collaboration and communication skills, especially with physicians and allied health professionals

Responsibilities:

• Deliver radiation therapy according to physician’s instructions and patient-specific treatment plans

• Input patient data, operate and calibrate equipment, and regulate dosages to ensure precise treatments

• Support physicians, oncologists, and clinical physicists in the technical preparation of treatment plans based on patient anatomy and needs

• Fabricate patient immobilization devices when needed

• Perform both routine and advanced treatments, including total body irradiation, stereotactic radiosurgery, and brachytherapy, following established protocols

• Maintain compliance with safety, quality assurance, and regulatory standards throughout all procedures

• Ensure treatment spaces and equipment are properly prepared and maintained before each session

• Provide clinical guidance and evaluation for student radiation therapists as required
