Job Description

Desired Skills and Experience:
• Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) with eligibility to practice in Idaho.
• Previous experience providing occupational therapy in a school setting preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to partner effectively with teachers, families, and school staff.
• Ability to design and implement individualized intervention strategies tailored to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Organized, adaptable, and compassionate, with a genuine passion for making a lasting impact on student growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess students’ functional abilities to determine needs and develop individualized education program (IEP) goals.
• Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students as outlined in IEPs.
• Collaborate with educational teams to adapt classroom environments and materials for accessibility and participation.
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes.
• Educate and support school personnel and families on strategies that encourage greater student independence.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to design the best interventions for student success.
