Job Description
Role: Radiation Oncology RN
Responsibilities: Provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing radiation therapy, including comprehensive assessments, care planning, medication administration, symptom management, and patient/family education.
Collaboration: Work closely with radiation oncologists, therapists, and the care team to ensure safe, high-quality care, compliance with radiation safety standards, and accurate documentation in EHR.
Qualifications & Skills: Strong clinical assessment skills, knowledge of radiation safety protocols, excellent communication, and teamwork abilities.
Key Duties: Deliver patient-centered care, participate in quality initiatives, and contribute to community-focused cancer treatment efforts.
