Physician - Radiation Oncology

Job Details:

• Coverage needed December 21-23 and December 28-31 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a one-hour lunch break

• Center operates two Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators and one CT simulator

• Average daily patient census of approximately 30 patients per shift

• Responsibilities include new patient consultations, follow-up appointments, on-treatment visits, and verification simulations

• Current staffing support includes 3 Radiation Therapists, 1 Dosimetrist, 1 Physicist, and 1 Nurse

• Board certification required at minimum certified level

• BLS certification required

• Required External Beam Therapy skills include Linear Accelerator, RapidArc/VMAT, and Electrons

• Required techniques include Conventional/Conformal Therapy, IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, SRS, and Hyper Altered Fractionation

• Required treatment planning skills include Conventional Treatment Planning, Beam Shaping (MLC), 3D CRT, IMRT, PET CT or MRI Image Fusion, and Electronic Portal Imaging (EPI)
