Physician - Radiation Oncology

Job Details:

• Radiation Oncology coverage for a retiring physician, providing 1 FTE coverage

• Schedule follows a 3 weeks on/1 week off or 2 weeks per month rotation

• Day shift position with no call required

• See approximately 3 new consults daily, with Tuesdays dedicated to all patients receiving radiation (approximately 18-25 patients)

• Patient population includes adults 18 years and above

• Work within a dedicated Cancer Center department

• Support staff includes Radiation Technologists, APPs, and RNs

• EMR system: Cerner

• Special procedures/skills required: HDR (High Dose Rate)

• Facility features an upgraded and newly installed imaging and radiation package

• Board Certification required

• Active DEA required

• BLS and ACLS certifications required

• State licensure required, completed through an accredited education program

The center is equipped with state-of-the-art imaging and radiation technology, having recently undergone a full upgrade and installation of a new imaging and radiation package. The cancer center provides a collaborative care environment supported by a multidisciplinary team including radiation technologists, advanced practice providers, and registered nurses.
