Role Description The Personal Injury Attorney will handle a full caseload of personal injury matters, including intake, case evaluation, and ongoing client communication. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, preparing demand letters, negotiating settlements, and representing clients in hearings, mediations, and, when necessary, trials. The attorney will collaborate with medical providers, support staff, and other legal professionals to ensure accurate documentation of injuries, damages, and treatment. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Covina, CA, requiring consistent in-person collaboration with clients and internal teams.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Law with specific experience in personal injury; familiarity with Labor and Employment Law is beneficial.
- Demonstrated ability to provide clear, practical Legal Advice to clients and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Research, including case law, statutes, regulations, and medical documentation relevant to personal injury claims.
- Effective Negotiation skills for managing settlements, working with insurance companies, and resolving disputes.
- Active license to practice law in California.
- 3 years of Previous experience in personal injury or civil litigation preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including drafting legal documents and explaining complex issues in accessible terms.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to ethical practice, client advocacy, and maintaining confidentiality.
