Oncology RN - Hourly Rate

Role: Provides specialized nursing care to oncology patients in a high-acuity, 32-bed unit, supporting both Bone Marrow Transplant and Oncology services.

Responsibilities: Conducts patient assessments, develops and implements individualized care plans, educates patients and families on illness management, and promotes safety and quality compliance. Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and communicates care plans across teams. Utilizes critical nursing skills to address physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations.

Qualifications & Skills: Requires an RN license with a nursing diploma or associate degree; a bachelor's degree and less than two years of experience are preferred. Professional growth is supported through fellowship programs, certifications, and education in oncology nursing.
