Registered Nurse (RN) - Acute Care - Medsurg Oncology FT

Role: The RN Clinical Nurse provides high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care on an inpatient oncology unit, collaborating within an interdisciplinary team to ensure individualized treatment plans.

Responsibilities: Perform the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, using evidence-based practice and critical thinking. Deliver culturally competent care tailored to patient needs and partner with patients and families through effective communication and education. Coordinate and document safe care delivery, promote teamwork, support performance improvement initiatives, and participate in shared governance. Advocate for patient safety, uphold organizational policies, and contribute to research and performance improvement activities.

Qualifications & Skills: Licensed as a Registered Nurse with current certifications such as BLS. Minimum of less than one year of clinical experience preferred. Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and customer service skills are essential. Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, utilize technology effectively, and demonstrate excellent time management, critical thinking, and clinical judgment.
