Job Summary
Seeking an Oncology Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide outpatient hematology/oncology care in a clinic attached to a chemo treatment center and hospital. This full-time role involves Monday to Friday, with shifts from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm, totaling four days per week, with no call responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver hematology/oncology patient care in an outpatient setting
• Manage various cases requiring specialized procedures
• Provide comprehensive patient assessments and treatment plans
Qualifications & Skills
• Active California license and DEA registration
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in relevant specialty
• Minimum of 2 years inpatient case logs in hematology/oncology
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Additional Details: Candidates should have the ability to start with temporary privileges and provide outpatient care without specified EMR requirements.
