The Senior Radiation Therapist is responsible for supporting patient care in the Radiation Oncology department by ensuring smooth workflow, addressing patient needs, and supervising staff and students.
They collaborate with various departments, demonstrate leadership, and work independently with accountability.
Qualifications include graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, California Therapeutic or Diagnostic Radiologic Technology Certification, National Registered Technologist - Radiation Therapy, and at least 2 years of clinical Radiation Therapist experience.
Preferred experience involves working in a fast-paced Radiation Oncology setting.
Skills required include excellent communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and the ability to interact effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
