Occupational Therapist School Setting in Deputy, IN

You will work 37.5 hours per week, collaborating closely with a COTA and providing vital supervision and mentorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Valid Indiana Occupational Therapist license

• Experience working in school settings or with K-12 student populations

• Ability to effectively supervise and collaborate with a COTA

• Strong communication skills and adaptability to work across various campuses

• Commitment to fostering student growth and engagement

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative OT services to K-12 students, ensuring IEP goals are met

• Oversee and provide guidance to a certified occupational therapy assistant (COTA)

• Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and comply with regulatory requirements

• Travel between school locations as needed to ensure comprehensive service delivery

• Work collaboratively with educators, families, and other support staff to develop effective student interventions
