Role Overview
The Nurse Practitioner provides patient care, consultation, evaluation, and education within an advanced healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities
• Follow standards of care per organizational policies and state laws.
• Coordinate daily patient flow to optimize safety, care, and satisfaction.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and staff information.
• Provide care within scope of practice as authorized by medical privileges.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients, ensuring high standards of care and safety.
• Educate patients on medical issues and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Collaborate professionally with patients, families, providers, and staff.
• Delegate care appropriately according to regulations.
• Maintain accurate documentation aligned with accreditation standards.
• Demonstrate competency in triage, diagnosis, and treatment.
Qualifications & Skills
• Minimum of two years' experience as a nurse practitioner in a related area preferred.
• Licenses and certifications in accordance with organizational requirements.
• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and treatment skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards.
