A confidential opportunity is available with a California plaintiff-side personal injury litigation practice seeking an experienced associate attorney to take meaningful ownership of sophisticated, referral-driven injury matters. This role is best suited for a self-directed litigator who can run a file with sound judgment, manage risk carefully, and thrive in an environment that values autonomy and results.

THE ROLE






- Manage personal injury matters from intake through resolution, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, and motion practice.
- Develop case strategy, evaluate liability and damages, and work with experts and key evidence.
- Prepare matters for mediation, arbitration, or trial as needed, including trial preparation and pretrial filings.
- Handle settlement negotiations and maintain direct client communication.
- Own deadlines, file management, and exposure control with a high level of professionalism and care.






LOCATION, SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATION





Location:

Los Angeles area, California.





Schedule:

In office 4 days per week.





Compensation:

$180,000 base salary for a 7th-year attorney (may be adjusted based on experience).





REQUIREMENTS






- At least 5 years of plaintiff-side personal injury litigation experience (5 to 15 years overall considered).
- Active California bar admission in good standing.
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school (Top 100 required).
- Ability to manage cases independently across all phases with strong attention to deadlines and risk management.
- Strong legal writing and motion practice skills, plus deposition and discovery experience.






COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS






- Origination-style compensation: 5 percent of cases you bring in.
