Job Description: Locum Physician - Interventional Radiology

Join a dynamic healthcare facility in Kearney, Nebraska, where our Level II Trauma Center provides comprehensive services tailored to meet the needs of our community. As a member of our dedicated team at this 175-bed hospital, you will play a vital role in maintaining essential interventional radiology services following the recent resignation of a provider. Your expertise will help ensure high-quality care and support our ongoing recruitment efforts for a permanent IR physician.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive interventional radiology services including:

• Spine procedures (pain management injections, vertebral augmentation, etc.)

• Ports and central line placements

• Solid organ biopsies and drainages

• Oncology interventions and image-guided therapies

• Perform kyphoplasty and breast biopsies

• Be available Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

• Collaborate with dedicated technologists and nursing staff to ensure patient-centered care

• Utilize EMR system (EPIC) efficiently in daily operations

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Interventional Radiology

• M.D. or D.O. credentials

• Prior experience in a broad-based interventional radiology practice

• Clean background and malpractice history (highly preferred)

• Availability to begin immediately upon credentialing

License and Certification Requirements:

• Board Certification in Interventional Radiology (required)

• Nebraska License (highly preferred) or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) (required)
