Job Title: Locum - Physician - Hematology Oncology

Join an innovative outpatient clinic in Pontiac, Michigan, where you can make a significant impact in the field of Hematology and Oncology. This facility offers a vibrant practice setting with a dedicated support team, including RNs, Medical Assistants, and specialists. The clinic operates from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, providing excellent care to patients while you fill an important recruitment gap.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide outpatient clinic coverage on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

• Participate in clinic call as needed.

• Manage an average of 15–20 outpatient clinic patients daily.

• Perform Hematology and Oncology outpatient care.

• Participate in tumor board meetings.

• Collaborate with support staff, including Oncology RNs, Social Workers, and Nurse Navigators.

• Utilize the Cerner EMR system for patient documentation.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Medical Oncology and Hematology.

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

• Experience in adult outpatient care.

• Familiarity with Cerner EMR preferred.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

• Active Michigan medical license (required; IMLC not accepted).

• BLS/ACLS certification (required).

• Copy of NPDB self-query (to be presented within 30 days).
