Full-Time Clinical Nurse - Oncology and BMT

Role: Provides direct patient care on a 32-bed oncology unit specializing in blood cancers, involving moderate to high acuity interventions.

Responsibilities

Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment home care, and medication use.
Participates in ensuring patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, while engaging in professional development.
Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
Uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences, values, and cultural considerations.
Works in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining constant alertness to ensure safety.

Qualifications & Skills

Licensed RN with a Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
No prior experience necessary; less than 2 years experience preferred.
Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
