Job Description
At Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine, we are dedicated to transforming lives by finding new and better ways to prevent, intercept, treat, and cure disease. Our Oncology team is focused on eliminating cancer through innovative science, and we are looking for an Executive Oncology Sales Representative to support our Head & Neck franchise in the Cincinnati, Lexington, and Louisville territory.
This is a field-based role where you will report to a District Manager and be responsible for executing sales strategies for current and future oncology therapeutics. You will need to demonstrate a deep understanding of clinical efficacy, articulate a compelling value proposition, and provide clinical support to customers. Your day-to-day will involve business analysis, prospecting for new business within assigned accounts, and developing account strategies in collaboration with the District Manager and internal partners. You will create pre- and post-call plans tailored to each customer, effectively penetrate new and existing accounts, and use all approved marketing tools and resources—including computer-generated presentations—to advance sales. Discussing access and reimbursement options compliantly will be key to improving sales opportunities, and you will negotiate and close orders to meet objectives.
To succeed, you must have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree and a valid driver’s license, with the ability to travel as needed, including overnights and weekends. We require at least two years of successful pharmaceutical, biologic, biotech, or medical device sales experience, or recent transition from Active Duty Military. You must reside in the geography or be willing to relocate. Preferred qualifications include specialty sales experience and an understanding of the solid tumor and oncology market, experience in hospital and large account sales, handling complex reimbursement issues such as Medicare Part D, and a documented track record of successful sales performance in a competitive environment. A learning aptitude toward AI and emerging technologies is also valued.
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $111,000 to $178,250 per year. In addition, you will be eligible for the company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)), as well as participation in the long-term incentive program. Time off benefits include 120 hours of vacation per calendar year, 40 hours of sick time (48 hours in Colorado, 56 hours in Washington), 13 paid holidays including floating holidays, up to 40 hours of work/personal/family time, 480 hours of parental leave, bereavement leave, caregiver leave, volunteer leave, and military spouse time-off. Johnson & Johnson is an Equal Opportunity Employer and welcomes all qualified applicants.
