## About the Role

We are searching for a Director, Translational Medicine Clinical Lead to join our Immunology Translational Science and Medicine (TSM) function. This position can be based in Spring House, Pennsylvania; Cambridge, Massachusetts; or San Diego, California. In this leadership role, you will be a program and experimental medicine leader, decisively contributing to accelerating the Immunology pipeline from portfolio entry to Proof-of

- Concept. You will function as a clinical lead and study responsible physician on early development programs and trials. You will create translational plans aligned with therapeutic area strategy and lead cross-functional clinical trial teams to deliver key milestones within timeline and budget. Responsibilities span end-to-end clinical trials: from initial protocol design to monitoring, problem-solving, analysis, and communication of results. You will partner with Translational Sciences, investigators, and external experts.

- Design and execute program translational strategies integrating disease and pathway approaches

- Design and execute early clinical trials through Proof-of

- Concept, including experimental medicine studies

- Lead cross-functional trial teams to deliver study milestones

- Collaborate on clinical biomarker and patient segmentation strategies

- Support business development and due diligence activities

- Represent Translational Medicine on early development teams and in governance meetings

- Prepare and review protocols, clinical study reports, and regulatory documents

- Present results at department, project, corporate, and scientific meetings

## Qualifications

An MD or MD/Ph. D degree is required. You must have a minimum of 3 years of industry and/or translational research experience, along with demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience with clinical or research teams. Training in immunology and early clinical development trials is strongly preferred. Experience with innovative immune cell-based or biologic therapies and a strong publication record are preferred. ## Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated base pay range for this position is **$199,000 to $398,000** per year. This role is eligible for the Company's consolidated retirement plan (pension), savings plan (401(k)), and long-term incentive program. Time off benefits include: 120 hours of vacation, 40 hours of sick time (48 in Colorado, 56 in Washington), 13 holidays including floating holidays, up to 40 hours of work/personal/family time, 480 hours of parental leave within one year of birth/adoption/foster care, bereavement leave, caregiver leave, volunteer leave, and military spouse time-off.
