Clinical Manager - Veterinary Internal Medicine
Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Area
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Four 10-hour workdays (Monday-Friday)
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the Internal Medicine service to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care
- Supervise and support a team of 4-5 veterinary technicians and assistants
- Provide hands-on clinical support while managing administrative responsibilities such as scheduling and performance management
- Manage staffing levels, timecards, and on-call coverage
- Deliver coaching, performance feedback, and employee evaluations
- Support technician training, skill development, and team engagement
- Collaborate with veterinary specialists and hospital leadership to optimize caseload management and workflow
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards (e.g., OSHA, DEA)
- Facilitate team meetings and maintain clear communication across departments
Qualifications
- Active CVT, LVT, or RVT license (any state strongly preferred)
- Minimum 4 years of veterinary experience
- Internal Medicine experience required
- At least 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to lead in a fast-paced specialty environment while maintaining a supportive team culture
Compensation
- Pay Range: $30.00 - $42.00 per hour with growth opportunities based on tenure and performance
- Sign-on bonus available
