Work Shift: Night (United States of America) - Full Time, 7 PM to 7 AM

Job Summary:

As a Registered Nurse, you will be a vital member of an interdisciplinary team dedicated to providing high-quality, individualized patient care in our 28-bed Oncology Unit. This unit primarily serves adult cancer patients who require inpatient treatments, including hospice care and medical-surgical telemetry.

Key Responsibilities:
• Exemplary Practice: Utilize the Nursing Process—assessment, diagnosis, care planning, implementation, and evaluation—to deliver personalized, evidence-based patient care.
• Patient-Centered Care: Form partnerships with patients and families, ensuring clear communication and tailoring care to meet their individual needs.
• Team Collaboration: Work alongside a diverse healthcare team to coordinate safe and effective patient care, engaging in respectful communication and documentation.
• Professional Development: Stay current with education and skills, serving as a mentor to less experienced staff and contributing to a supportive work environment.
• Evidence-Based Practice: Advocate for and implement best practices based on research and clinical evidence, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and policies.

Education and Experience Required:
• Minimum of 5 years of RN experience, with direct patient care experience preferred.
• Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Must possess current RN license compliant with the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act.
• BLS certification is mandatory upon hire.

Required Skills:
• Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to use technology effectively in clinical settings.
• Excellent time management and critical thinking abilities, especially in fast-paced environments.
