Naeema Quiery

BSc (Hons) Nutrition and Dietetics graduate (2:1) from the University of Surrey with recent clinical research and laboratory experience gained through an eight-week Rank Prize research internship. Experienced in participant screening and recruitment, independently conducting study visits, collecting clinical and physiological measurements, capillary blood sampling, biological sample processing and storage, and accurate research data entry and sample tracking. Comfortable working with laboratory protocols and equipment, with experience in plasma separation and storage, 24-hour urine and stool sample processing, basic cell culture techniques, and analysis of lactate and glucose. Alongside research experience, I have developed strong clinical and interpersonal skills through an NHS student dietetic placement across multiple clinical settings. I am confident working with patients and multidisciplinary teams, maintaining accurate and confidential records, recognising and escalating concerns, and following procedures to support participant and patient safety. I am highly organised, attentive to detail and keen to develop my laboratory and clinical research skills further within a research-focused role.
