About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Global Therapeutic Area Leader with a focus on Oncology. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing global scientific, strategic, and operational leadership within the oncology therapeutic area. This role involves shaping and executing the global medical strategy in alignment with enterprise objectives, upholding scientific quality, and leading the delivery of therapeutic area activities. The Vice President will also serve as a senior scientific partner, engage in external scientific activities, and drive innovation in medical services within the oncology field.
Applicants must have an advanced scientific degree (MD, PhD, PharmD) and a minimum of 10 years' experience in medical fields related to oncology, including drug development and medical and scientific services. The role requires deep therapeutic area expertise, executive-level decision-making, and a proven track record of leading and developing senior medical and scientific leaders. Strong stakeholder management, client-facing communication skills, and the ability to influence at an executive level are essential. The ideal candidate will have experience in global, matrixed organizations, and a background in integrated global drug development, with a focus on quality, compliance, and risk-based decision-making.
