About the Role
The Company is in search of a Senior Director for Medical Affairs in Hematologic Malignancies. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing US and global medical affairs strategic plans that align with clinical and commercial priorities. This role requires serving as the enterprise medical and scientific authority on hematologic malignancies, building and maintaining relationships with key opinion leaders, research groups, and medical societies, and leading the organization at major national and international congresses. The Senior Director will also be tasked with identifying evidence gaps, supporting clinical and real-world evidence studies, and ensuring the translation of complex data into meaningful insights for various stakeholders.
Applicants must have an MD, DO, PhD, or PharmD, with a strong preference for MD/DO with board eligibility in Medical Oncology or Hematology. A minimum of 10 years' of biopharma experience in medical affairs, with at least 5 years' in strategic leadership, is required. Expertise in hematologic malignancies, including AML, MDS, and ALL, is essential. The role involves overseeing medical education, scientific communications, and promotional review to ensure compliance and scientific accuracy. The Senior Director will also partner with field medical leadership on engagement strategy, scientific training, and with pharmacovigilance on safety monitoring. Experience in managing medical affairs teams and leading in a cross-functional matrix is a key requirement for this position.
