Join the Oncology team at PVESC and work alongside our Board-Certified Oncologists to provide compassionate, specialized care from diagnosis through treatment and follow-up.

PVESC is growing! Our new 42,000-square-foot hospital is opening soon, bringing expanded specialty services, new opportunities, and an exciting next chapter for our team.
What You ll Do
• Administer medications and chemotherapy under oncologist supervision
• Assist with diagnostics, including laboratory work, imaging, and CT
• Support oncology appointments, patient flow, and scheduling
• Assist with our radioactive I-131 program for hyperthyroid cats
• Maintain accurate medical records, treatment notes, and drug logs
• Educate and communicate compassionately with clients
• Collaborate with Internal Medicine, Surgery, Radiology, and other specialty teams
• Provide patient-centered care and support throughout treatment
What We re Looking For
• Licensed/credentialed Veterinary Technician or experienced Veterinary Assistant
• Oncology or specialty medicine experience preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• EzyVet or SmartFlow experience a plus
• Compassionate, positive, and team-oriented approach
Schedule & Compensation
• Full-time, 4-day work week
• Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 6:30 PM, with one weekday off
• Weekends off
• Schedule based on current hospital needs discussed during interview
• Occasional holidays required
• $25 $38/hour, based on experience
• Up to $5000.00 sign on bonus based on experience and credentials
