Vascular Surgery PCU - Clinical RN (Day Shift) → Vascular Surgery RN (Day Shift)

Role Overview:



Provides comprehensive pre/post-operative nursing care for patients with peripheral vascular disease, including procedures such as aneurysm repairs, carotid interventions, dialysis access, thrombolysis, and bypass surgeries.



Key Responsibilities:





- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Educate patients and families on disease management, medications, and post-treatment care.
- Promote patient safety, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Develop individualized care plans aligned with nursing standards and communicate across care continuum.
- Utilize critical thinking to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations.
- Participate in professional development and ensure safe practice in a safety-sensitive position.





Qualifications & Skills:





- Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree; Bachelor's preferred.
- Licenses: RN license required.
- Experience: No experience required; 2+ years preferred for advanced roles.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, arterial line monitoring, pacer wires certification desired.
