Vascular and Interventional Radiologist

Community Health Systems is seeking a Diagnostic Radiology/Nuclear Medicine - Vascular and Interventional Radiology physician for a locum tenens call-only position at MountainView Regional Medical Center in Las Cruces, NM. This ongoing opportunity primarily focuses on weekend coverage through the end of 2026, with potential for additional PTO coverage as needed. The ideal candidate will provide inpatient care utilizing the Medhost EMR system in a supportive hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Main need for weekend coverage; additional days to cover PTO may also arise

• Perform night call (5:30 PM - 9:00 AM) and weekend call (8:00 AM - 8:00 AM) from August through December

• Provide day coverage (9:00 AM - 5:30 PM) on specified dates in October, November, and December

• Respond to beeper calls within a 30-minute response time

• Handle an average of 15-18 patient encounters per shift

• Conduct 3-5 average phone consults

• See 0-5 average patients

• Perform rounding
