Job Description
Role: Registered Nurse - Treatment at Kellogg Cancer Center
Location: Evanston Hospital
Type: Full-time, 40 hours/week with 4 days of 10-hour shifts, no weekends or holidays
Key Responsibilities
• Provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care independently
• Utilize the nursing process for planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care
• Administer chemotherapy, medications, and blood products
• Supervise and coordinate care with unlicensed assistive personnel
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Contribute to safety and high-quality patient experiences
Qualifications & Skills
• Current Illinois RN licensure
• Associate's degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred)
• Current CPR certification; OCN/ONS certification preferred
• Experience in oncology or outpatient infusion centers preferred
