Job Description
Role: Registered Nurse - Treatment at Kellogg Cancer Center
• Responsibilities: Provide safe, compassionate nursing care; utilize the nursing process for patient care planning, implementation, and evaluation; administer chemotherapy, medications, and blood products; supervise unlicensed assistive personnel; collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes; promote safety and high-quality patient experiences.
• Qualifications: Current Illinois RN licensure; Associate's degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred); CPR certification; oncology or outpatient infusion experience is a plus. OCN/ONS certification is preferred.
• Skills: Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical skills to deliver effective patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Duties: Independently care for patients, administer treatments, guide team members, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.
