Travel RN - Med/Surg - Infusion

American Traveler is hiring an Outpatient Chemotherapy/Infusion RN in Eastern Montana requiring 2 years of chemotherapy administration experience and ONS certification.

Requirements

• Active RN license (Montana or Compact) currently in hand
• 2 years of chemotherapy administration experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• ONS Fundamentals of Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Administration Certification required

Responsibilities

• Work in the Infusion area of a cancer care center providing outpatient chemotherapy services
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday
• No holiday coverage required
• Uses EPIC EMR system
• Provide professional oncology nursing care as part of the cancer care team
• Assess patient health history and address physician orders
• Perform in-office procedures and chemotherapy administration
• Educate patients and families and manage cancer-related symptoms
• Monitor patients' physical and emotional well-being through frequent visits
• Serve as primary communication link between patients and physicians
• Apply clinical judgment and decision-making to triage and manage patient care needs
