Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgery or procedures
• Monitor vital signs and respond promptly to changes in patient status
• Educate patients and families about post-operative care and discharge instructions
• Safely administer medications and manage pain control
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver optimal care
• Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with facility protocols
• Uphold the highest standards in patient safety and confidentiality

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered RN license (state or compact)
• Minimum of 1 year recent PACU nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and assessment skills
