TLC Allied is seeking a travel Acute Care Physical Therapist in Oakland, CA. Weekly compensation ranges from $3,063 to $3,399 for day shifts scheduled as 5 x 8 hours. This acute care PT role focuses on early mobility, functional restoration, and discharge planning for hospitalized patients with medical and surgical conditions. Responsibilities include completing evaluations, developing treatment plans, providing gait, balance, strength, and mobility interventions, educating patients, coordinating discharge plans, and documenting progress in the EHR. The position requires a Doctor of Physical Therapy or equivalent, a current U.S. PT license, CPR/BLS, and 1–3 years of PT experience in hospital or acute care settings. Experience with stroke or post-surgical rehabilitation and discharge planning is preferred.
