Essential Functions
• Interprets and implements prescriptions and treatment plans while accurately recording simulation and treatment summaries.
• Conducts simulation procedures, prepares immobilization devices, and gathers necessary measurements and information for dosimetry.
• Monitors treatment equipment and performs daily quality assurance checks.
• Participates in clinical training and evaluation of student therapists when applicable.
• Utilizes effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Provides basic patient care during treatment delivery, assists with patient education, and monitors patients for any signs of treatment-related symptoms.
• Ensures accurate daily billing information for all treatment-related procedures.
• Handles patient scheduling and follows through with timely treatment delivery in a professional manner.

Minimum Qualifications
• Radiology Tech License in your state of practice, if necessary.
• Certification in Radiation Therapy from the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.

Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited institution.

Physical Requirements
• Must be able to see and read labels and assess patients’ needs efficiently.
• Frequent interactions with patients and care providers requiring clear communication skills.
• Manual dexterity for operating delicate equipment and completing computer tasks.
• Ability to lift and move patients, as well as carry supplies and equipment of varying weights.
• Responsible for assisting in walking and transporting patients effectively.
• Must be able to stand in a stationary position for extended periods when required.
