Job Description

To advance cancer research and the development of innovative radiopharmaceuticals, a full-time Texas Licensed Radiochemist will manage quality control operations, contribute to research and development of novel tracers, and ensure laboratory safety compliance in a hybrid onsite/remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform quality control procedures using analytical techniques and maintain accurate laboratory records

• Develop and optimize radiolabeling procedures and analytical methods for new radiopharmaceuticals

• Ensure compliance with radiation safety and contamination control requirements while supporting scientific communication

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field; Master's Degree preferred

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing and/or quality control of PET radiopharmaceuticals

• Expertise in analytical techniques such as HPLC and GC

• Experience with quality control operations and method development

• Preferred: Authorized user listed in Radioactive Materials License as per Nuclear Regulatory Commission
