Position Overview
The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of Florida College of Medicine Jacksonville is excited to invite applications for a full-time Surgical Pathologist/Hematopathologist at the non-tenure-accruing level of Assistant or Associate Professor. We are looking for an accomplished Anatomic and Clinical Pathologist who is both Board Eligible/Certified and fellowship-trained in Hematopathology. This is a fantastic opportunity to engage in a collaborative academic environment with a focus on clinical excellence, education, and impactful research.
Position Highlights:
• Must be Board Certified / Board Eligible (MD/DO) in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology
• Fellowship training and BC/BE in Hematopathology required
• Active Florida medical license & DEA
• Responsibilities include signing out surgical pathology cases
• Interpretation and sign out of hematopathology and flow cytometry cases
• Mentorship of residents and fellows in both hematopathology and surgical pathology
• Opportunities for collaborative research in surgical pathology and hematopathology
• Participation in anatomic pathology on-call services
