Surgical Oncology Registered Nurse

Responsibilities
• Administer medications, monitor patient recovery, and respond to any emergencies
• Record patient's medical information and vital signs
• Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions
• Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans
• Advocate for patients' and families' needs, or provide emotional support for patients and their families after surgeries
• Educate patients about post-operative care and potential complications
• Monitor all aspects of patient care, including diet and physical activity
