The Outpatient Oncology Clinical Pharmacist provides oncology-focused pharmaceutical care in a fast-paced infusion clinic. Working on-site with an interdisciplinary cancer team, this role verifies chemotherapy and related therapies, reviews treatment plans and labs, oversees sterile and hazardous drug compounding, supports investigational trials, answers drug information questions, and documents clinical interventions to promote safe, evidence-based medication use for oncology patients.

Responsibilities
• Review, verify, and dispense chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biologics, and supportive medications per policies and regulations.
• Perform clinical evaluation of oncology treatment plans, including dosing, labs, and protocol compliance.
• Oversee and ensure safe sterile compounding and handling of hazardous drugs in line with USP and institutional standards.
• Provide oncology-focused drug information and clinical support to physicians, APPs, and nursing staff.
• Document clinical interventions and communicate recommendations across the interdisciplinary oncology team.
• Participate in investigational drug services and support oncology clinical trials as assigned.
• Contribute to medication safety and quality improvement initiatives in the outpatient oncology service line.
• Maintain current competency in oncology pharmacy practice, protocols, and sterile compounding techniques.
