Supervising Pharmacist (Pharmacist-in-Charge) - HIV & 340B

Boca brings LGBTQ+, HIV, PrEP, and sexual wellness care to underserved patients through our covered entity partners. Our patients are chronic, high-touch, and often have been failed by pharmacies before they got to us. Adherence is the job.

We're hiring a Supervising Pharmacist to run our East Tremont location.

Monday through Friday, 9 to 5. No evenings, no weekends, no rotating shifts. We staff it that way on purpose.

What you'll own

- Final clinical verification on everything dispensed at the site

- Designated Supervising Pharmacist on the NYS registration — you sign it

- The pharmacy team: techs, fill staff, workflow, throughput

- Patient counseling and adherence for HIV, PrEP, and sexual wellness therapy

- Site-level 340B integrity, working directly with our compliance team

- Inventory, ordering, and purchasing accuracy

What you need

- PharmD, BS, or MS in Pharmacy from an accredited program

- Active New York pharmacist license in good standing

- Eligible for Supervising Pharmacist designation in NY — you can't currently hold that designation at another pharmacy, and the role requires 30+ hours per week

- Comfort with software. We build our own — fill queues, patient lifecycle tracking, structured escalations — and you'll work in them every day, not in an off-the-shelf package someone sold us

What helps

- Spanish fluency — it matters with this patient base

- 340B or covered entity dispensing experience

- AAHIVP certification

- Prior PIC or supervising pharmacist experience

We'd take a sharp newer pharmacist over a veteran who wants to run this the way their last store ran it.

Pay and benefits

$155,000–$165,000 per year. Medical, dental, vision, 401k, generous PTO, and certification support including AAHIVP.
